Sitharaman announces 10,000 fellowships in IITs & IISc in next 5 years

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday announced that 10,000 fellowships will be provided in IITs and IISc for tech research, in the next five years. These will be provided under the PM Research Fellowship Scheme. She said the government is exploring setting up a dedicated Fund of Funds (FoF) for DeepTech startups and companies.
