Sitharaman wears saree gifted by Padma awardee Dulari Devi on Budget day

On Budget day, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman wore a saree gifted to her by Dulari Devi, a Madhubani artist who won the Padma Shri in 2021. Sitharaman met Devi at Bihar's Mithila Art Institute where they had a cordial exchange on Madhubani art. Devi had then gifted her the saree and asked her to wear it on Budget day.
