Situation under control: UP DGP as 5 arrested in Bahraich violence

Five people were arrested in Bahraich violence, of whom two people sustained injuries in an encounter, UP DGP Prashant Kumar said on Thursday, adding that the situation was under control. The arrested, Abdul Hameed, Fahim, Abdul Afzal, Sarfaraz and Talib had allegedly shot dead man identified as Ram Gopal Mishra in clashes during immersion of Goddess Durga idol in Bahraich.
