SK Hynix employees to get 60% of bonuses in stock as shares soar 500%: Report

South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix has agreed to pay 60% of this year's employee bonuses in stock and 40% in cash under a preliminary wage deal, Reuters reported. Fueled by the ongoing AI memory boom, the company's shares have jumped over 500% in a year. Employees are likely to receive an average payout of $547,000 (around ₹5.2 crore) for 2026.
