Skin implant gives early cancer warning by creating mole

Researchers at ETH Zurich have developed a skin implant which recognises the four most common types of cancer- prostate, lung, colon and breast cancer at a very early stage. In case of a cancer, the device, which is inserted under the skin, causes a mole to form when calcium level in the blood is elevated due to the developing tumour.
