Skoda India MD Gurpratap Boparai to also head Volkswagen India

Volkswagen Group has announced that Gurpratap Boparai, Managing Director of Skoda Auto India, will also become MD of Volkswagen India with effect from January 1. The restructuring is part of the group's Skoda-led 'INDIA 2.0' project. From the same date, Pavel Richter, Production Technical Director of 'INDIA 2.0', will be responsible for production at the group's Indian plants.
