Skydiver dies in Florida's DeLand due to parachute malfunction: Authorities

A skydiver died on Monday in Florida after his parachute malfunctioned, authorities said. The accident was reported shortly before 12 pm at DeLand Municipal Airport, which is about 43 miles north of Orlando. The diver's not been identified and additional details about the malfunction haven't been revealed. According to official data, US witnessed 10 fatal skydiving accidents last year.
