Skyroot's Vikram-1 to carry diamonds, tiny 18K gold sculpture to space

Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace will launch Vikram-1 under 'Mission Aagaman' this month, carrying miniature gold sculptures of scientific visionaries CV Raman, Vikram Sarabhai and APJ Abdul Kalam. Each sculpture is smaller than a grain of rice, making it one of the tiniest artistic tributes ever sent into space, the firm said. Cosmos Diamonds' artwork 'Cosmic Bloom' is also among the payloads.
