SL President visits India on first overseas trip, to meet PM Modi

Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake arrived in India on Sunday for his first overseas visit and will meet PM Modi in New Delhi to hold talks to bolster relations between the two nations. Sharing that he had held discussions on economic cooperation, security, tourism, and energy with Indian ministers, Dissanayake added, "These engagements reaffirm commitment to deepening partnership."
