SL's Shanaka calls for govt action to stop negativity around team

After Sri Lanka were eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2026, captain Dasun Shanaka said that "negativity" from outside is a "big loss" to Sri Lankan cricket. "We will play and leave, but for the players who will come in the future, if the government can even stop [the negativity], that is better for their mental health," he added.
