Slack to add stories, push-to-talk audio by year-end

Team collaboration platform Slack is set to add Instagram-like stories and push-to-talk audio communication to its platform by the end of 2020. The stories on Slack are meant as a way for remote workers to check in and provide status updates. The audio feature would come as voice channels that can be joined as opposed to scheduling new calls.
