Slain boy's mother to contest by-election in Muzaffarnagar's Khatauli

The mother of the slain boy, Gaurav, has filed her nomination as an independent candidate for the by-election from Muzaffarnagar's Khatauli. The seat was declared vacant following the disqualification of BJP MLA Vikram Saini, who was convicted in the riots. Gaurav and his cousin were killed by a mob after the murder of Shahnawaz Qureshi over road rage.
