Slapped Smita Patil without her consent, later cried: Amol Palekar

Amol Palekar revealed that he slapped actress Smita Patil without her consent during shoot of a scene in 'Bhumika' and later cried after apologising to her. "The expression on Smita's face was that of disbelief. She couldn’t believe I would do something like that," Palekar added. "I told her why I did...and she hugged me and cried too," he stated.
