Slower walkers have older brains and bodies at age 45: Study
A study, called 'Association of Neurocognitive and Physical Function With Gait Speed in Midlife', has claimed that walking speed of 45-year-olds can determine the aging their brains and bodies have endured. Slower walkers were shown to have "accelerated aging", and their lungs, teeth and immune systems tended to be in worse shape than the people who walked faster.
