Smaller parties are free to back Vijay-led TVK to form govt: DMK

Speaking after no party secured majority after elections and TVK emerged as single-largest party with 108 seats, DMK said the smaller parties are free to support TVK. Notably, PMK, IUML and CPI won four, two and two seats respectively. Congress, which won five seats, has extended support to TVK. TVK needs support of 118 MLAs to form government.
