Smart cylinders with IoT technology, leak alerts in works: HPCL

Executive Director of LPG at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Dhruv Kapil, revealed the firm plans to introduce smart LPG cylinders with Internet of Things (IoT)-based technology. He added that the cylinders would provide features such as continuous monitoring, leak alerts, remote notifications, and enhanced safety management. He added that HPCL provides LPG leak detection sensors.
