Smart LED streetlights to be installed in every corner of Bengaluru

Bengaluru will see smart LED streetlights that are expected to reduce energy wastage as all sodium vapour lamps will be removed from the city streets. Eight zones will get the upgraded streetlights in another two months, officials said. As many as 4.85 lakh sodium vapour lamps will be replaced with LED lights.
