Smriti Irani and British Council team up to empower 1lakh women

A new initiative to support women entrepreneurs in India was launched on March 17, 2026, through a collaboration between the British Council and SPARK – The 100K Collective, backed by Smriti Irani. The program aims to empower one lakh women, particularly those classified as “missing middle” entrepreneurs, by providing essential training and resources for business growth.
