Smriti Irani begins first Haryana visit as BJP in-charge

BJP Haryana affairs in-charge Smriti Irani began a two-day visit to the state on Thursday — her first since her appointment last month. Organisational meetings in Panchkula focused on booth empowerment, workers' participation and welfare scheme outreach. BJP set a 3-month target to form 11-member booth committees statewide. CM and cabinet will join meetings on Friday.
