Smriti Mandhana becomes 1st buy of first-ever WPL auction, sold for ₹3.4 crore to RCB

Smriti Mandhana has become the first buy of the first-ever Women's Premier League auction. The 26-year-old batter, who had a base price of ₹50 lakh, was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for ₹3.4 crore. Mumbai Indians also bid for Mandhana. Mandhana has scored 2,651 runs in 112 T20I matches.
