SN Srivastava takes charge as Delhi Police Commissioner

IPS officer SN Srivastava took charge as Delhi Police Commissioner on Saturday and said that his first priority is to "bring back peace and communal harmony" to the city. "We are registering riot cases...Efforts are on to arrest the involved culprits," Srivastava added. Srivastava succeeded Amulya Patnaik who retired today and was criticised over handling of the riots in Delhi.
