Snapchat faces EU probe for failing to prevent child grooming

European Union (EU) launched an investigation into Snapchat over concerns that it failed to prevent child grooming and the sale of illegal goods. EU said Snapchat's content moderation tools were ineffective in preventing spread of information that led minor users to the sale of drugs, vapes and alcohol. EU will take over a probe opened by Dutch regulators last September.
