Snapchat has issued a clarification following rumours that alleged that the company’s updated privacy policy gave it ownership over users' photos, videos and text messages. Snapchat said, “The Snaps and Chats you send your friends remain as private today as they were before the update”. It also reportedly does not have any control over screenshots or pictures.
