Snoop Dogg buys Death Row Records, the label that launched his career 29 years ago

American rapper and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg has announced that he has bought Death Row Records, the music label that launched his career in 1993. He acquired the label from MNRK Music Group, which is controlled by private equity funds managed by investment firm Blackstone. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
