Social worker Sindhutai Sapkal laid to rest with full state honours in Pune

Social worker Sindhutai Sapkal, who passed away following a heart attack at the age of 73 years on Tuesday, was laid to rest with full state honours in Pune on Wednesday. She was fondly called the 'mother of orphaned children'. Senior officials of the Pune district administration and the police department also paid their last respects to Sapkal.
