Sodium-ion battery that can charge 80% in 6 minutes developed in India

A research team at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research developed a super-fast charging sodium-ion battery that can charge up to 80% in just six minutes and last over 3,000 charge cycles. The battery is based on a NASICON-type cathode and anode material. These batteries could power everything from electric vehicles and solar grids to drones and rural homes.
