SoftBank cuts Ola Electric stake ahead of ₹1,000 cr rights issue

A SoftBank affiliate sold 5.55 crore shares of Ola Electric Mobility through open market transactions between January 6 and October 22, 2026, along with 1.12 crore rights entitlements. Following the sales, its stake in the firm fell to 11.7% from 12.9%, while its diluted holding dropped to 11.47%. Ola Electric is seeking to raise ₹1,000 crore through a rights issue.
