SoftBank hires Goldman for Treasure Data sale worth $1 billion

SoftBank Group has hired Goldman Sachs to sell its unit, Treasure Data, and is seeking a price of about $1 billion. Earlier, Arm said it will transfer Treasure Data to its parent, SoftBank, to focus on its main semiconductor operations and accelerate growth. A $1 billion sale would be roughly 66% more than Arm paid for Treasure Data in 2018.
