SoftBank offers to invest $1 billion in Ola cabs: Reports

Bengaluru-based ride-hailing startup Ola has reportedly been offered a $1-billion investment by Japanese conglomerate SoftBank, which owns around 26% stake in it. Reports said CEO Bhavish Aggarwal "may not accept the offer in current form" as it may give SoftBank 10-15% more stake. Previous reports had claimed Africa's largest conglomerate Naspers may invest in Ola at a $7-8 billion valuation.
