SoftBank planning to invest up to $4 bn in India over next 2 yrs
Japanese multinational conglomerate SoftBank is planning to invest $2-4 billion in India over the next two years, SoftBank Vision Fund head Rajeev Misra said. SoftBank would be bringing over 20 companies in its portfolio into India by setting up joint ventures with local businesses, he added. Notably, SoftBank has invested over $10 billion in India in the past decade.
