SoftBank posts ₹9,000 cr loss on Snapdeal, Ola investment

Japanese investor SoftBank Group has reported a valuation loss of $1.4 billion (₹9,000 crore) on its two flagship investments in India, Ola and Snapdeal, according to its annual report for year ended March 2017. The company has recognised the loss in valuation from Snapdeal at $1 billion. Since August 2013, Softbank has invested nearly $900 million in Snapdeal.
