SoftBank taking control of WeWork at $8 billion valuation: Report

WeWork's biggest investor SoftBank is in "very advanced talks" of taking control of the US-based shared workspace startup in a deal that will value WeWork between $7.5 billion and $8 billion, CNBC reported on Monday. SoftBank plans to invest between $4 billion and $5 billion in exchange for new and existing shares. WeWork was valued at $47 billion in January.
