SoftBank to launch $100 mn fund for firms led by 'founders of colour'

SoftBank Group will be launching a $100 million fund to invest in "companies led by founders and entrepreneurs of colour". The fund, called "Opportunity Growth Fund", will be headed by Chief Operating Officer Marcelo Claure, media reports said. The Opportunity Growth Fund will be the biggest fund providing capital to African-Americans and people of colour, reports quoting Claure said.
