SoftBank-Saudi's tech fund world's largest with $93B capital
Japan's SoftBank has announced the first major close for its 'Vision Fund' with a committed capital of $93 billion, making it the world's largest technology fund. Besides SoftBank, the fund's investors include Saudi Arabia's PID public fund, Apple, Qualcomm, Foxconn, and Foxconn-owned Sharp. The fund targets a total of $100 billion capital with a final close within six months.
