Solar finance platform Metafin secures $10 mn loan from Lendable

Mumbai-based solar finance platform Metafin has raised $10 million in structured debt from London-based global impact fund Lendable. The capital will be used to expand financing for solar energy solutions across rural India, particularly those transitioning from diesel-based systems. Metafin has financed over 6,500 solar projects across more than 4,000 villages in five states, the company said.
