Solicitor General Tushar Mehta gets 3 year extension

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved re-appointment of Senior Advocate Tushar Mehta as Solicitor General for India in Supreme Court for a further term of three years. Mehta has been serving as Solicitor General since October 10, 2018. The ACC has also approved the re-appointment of five Additional Solicitors General for India in the Supreme Court.
