Some betrayed us, but Maha punished them when the time came: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked the Maharashtra people for BJP-led Mahayuti's victory in the state Assembly elections. In an apparent reference to the undivided Shiv Sena's exit from the BJP-led alliance after the 2019 polls, PM Modi said, "Some people betrayed us, but Maharashtra refused such people and punished them when the time came." Notably, Mahayuti won on 200+ seats.
