RJD working president Tejashwi Yadav criticised first-time BJP MLA Maithili Thakur, without naming her, for her remarks comparing Lalu Prasad Yadav's fondness for his son to Dhritarashtra and Duryodhana. He said, "Some people think they've a thorough knowledge of politics...Without understanding even the a, b, c of the legislature, they have the temerity to make snide remarks about a 'Jannayak'."
