Some vehicles made before 2016 may need minor tweaks for E20: Govt

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed the Rajya Sabha that studies evaluating the effects of E20 found there was no need to modify engines of either cars or two-wheelers. However, pre-2016 manufactured BS-III vehicles that were introduced from April 1, 2005, "some rubber parts and gaskets may require replacement", he said. He added that this can be done during routine servicing.
