Sometimes we've to re-engineer: Siemens CEO on 5000 likely layoffs
German tech giant Siemens could cut up to 5,000 jobs worldwide after reporting a 46% fall in its profit in its flagship digital industries business. "Sometimes we've to do some re-engineering," said CEO Roland Busch, adding, "This means we are going to have a low- to medium-sized four-digit amount which will affect some areas."
