Sona Comstar planning rare earth production to cut imports: Report

Sona Comstar, India's biggest importer of rare earth magnets, plans to locally manufacture the critical components used in electric vehicles as China restricts their exports, a report stated. The final decision depends on the government scheme currently in the works to incentivise home-grown production of the magnets.
