Sonam Wangchuk issues 1st statement after ending 26-day hunger strike, warns against violence

After ending his 26-day hunger strike in the presence of Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh, Sonam Wangchuk issued his first statement. "It was done after...long negotiation on various conditions and in view of possible violence in the country," he wrote. He added, "Meanwhile...I urge you all to stay very vigillant about not allowing violence of any kind anywhere."
