Sonam Wangchuk wants thermometer for experiments in jail: Wife

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has requested a thermometer in the Jodhpur jail to conduct experiments on eco-responsive architecture, aiming to improve the jail barracks, his wife and HIAL co-founder Gitanjali J Angmo stated. She met Wangchuk and gave him books on ants, a gift from his eldest brother, along with books on climate change. Wangchuk was detained in September 2025.
