Sonia Gandhi recovers from systemic infection, gets discharged

Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was discharged from Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Tuesday. According to the hospital's chairman, Dr Ajay Swaroop, she was admitted on the night of March 24 with a fever and was treated with antibiotics for a systemic infection. As per an official statement, her team of doctors said she responded well to the treatment.
