Sony had issue with producer: Satam on CID shut down after 20 yrs

'CID' actor Shivaji Satam, known for playing ACP Pradyuman, opened up about the show's end in 2018 after a successful 20-year run. "We used to ask the channel [Sony] why they were shutting it down. We were neck-to-neck with KBC," he said. Satam added that Sony probably had a problem with the show's producer and wanted to replace him.
