Sony Music, Warner Chappell sue Anthropic over copyright

Major music publishers like Sony Music and Warner Chappell, have sued Anthropic, alleging widespread copyright infringement. The lawsuit names Co-founders Dario Amodei and Benjamin Mann and accuses the company of illegally torrenting, scraping and downloading copyrighted works. The publishers claim Anthropic used thousands of protected works to train its Claude AI model.
