Sony withdraws from MWC over coronavirus fears, will launch phones on YouTube

Sony has announced its withdrawal from the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry, over coronavirus fears. Sony said it will hold a live event on its official Xperia YouTube channel, adding that "the safety and well-being of our customers, partners, media and employees" are of "utmost importance". Amazon and Ericsson have also pulled out.
