India opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has become the youngest cricketer to hit 50-plus score in Under-19 World Cup history, achieving the feat at 14 years and 296 days. Sooryavanshi scored 72 runs off 67 balls in India's second Under-19 World Cup 2026 match against Bangladesh on Saturday. The previous record was held by Afghanistan's Shahidullah Kamal (15 years and 19 days).
