Sophia Duleep Singh: Sikh princess who fought for women's rights

Princess Sophia Duleep Singh (8 August 1876) was one of the most prominent figures in the British suffrage movement. The third daughter of the last ruler of the Sikh Empire, Maharaja Duleep Singh, and the goddaughter of Queen Victoria, Princess Sophia fought for women's equality in the early 20th century. She also volunteered as a nurse during World War I.
