New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern paused briefly when an earthquake struck Wellington during her address to the nation regarding COVID-19. A video of this showed Ardern getting startled during the shaking, and telling a reporter, "Sorry, a slight distraction, would you mind repeating that question?" Wellington was shaken by a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that hit 30 km southwest of Taumarunui.
